Frequently Asked Questions

Comprehensive answers to common questions about accessing, using, and securing your experience on TorZon Market.

01

Getting Started

This website is an independent informational directory and access portal for TorZon Market. We provide verified PGP-signed onion links, security tutorials, and status updates to help users access the darknet marketplace safely. We are here to help you avoid phishing sites and learn proper operational security.

To access TorZon Market, you must use the Tor Browser, as standard browsers like Chrome or Safari cannot resolve .onion addresses. Follow these steps:

  1. Download Tor Browser from the official Tor Project website.
  2. Install and launch the browser.
  3. Copy one of the verified mirrors from our Links page.
  4. Paste it into the Tor Browser address bar and hit enter.

Registration is free and open. Navigate to the market login page and select "Register". You will need to create a unique username, a strong password, and a 6-digit PIN for withdrawals. Do not use a username or password that you have used on other websites or clearnet services.

02

Security & Privacy

Verification is critical to avoid phishing. TorZon signs its mirrors with a PGP key. You should import the market's public key into your PGP software (like Kleopatra). On the login page, verify the PGP signed message. If the signature matches the market's key, the site is safe. If verification fails, leave immediately.

TorZon employs advanced security features like Man-in-the-Middle protection, mandatory PGP 2FA, and image stealth mode. However, safety also depends on your operational security (OpSec). Use Tails OS, keep your PGP private key secure, never share personal info, and always verify onion links.

PGP 2-Factor Authentication adds a layer of security by requiring you to decrypt a message to log in. This ensures that even if someone steals your password, they cannot access your account without your private PGP key. We strongly recommend enabling this in your profile settings immediately.

03

Payments & Escrow

TorZon accepts Bitcoin (BTC) and Monero (XMR). While Bitcoin is standard, we highly recommend using Monero for its enhanced privacy features that make transactions untraceable on the blockchain.

When you purchase an item, your funds are held by the market's escrow service, not sent directly to the vendor. The vendor ships the item, and once you receive it and confirm satisfaction, you release the funds. If the item never arrives, you can open a dispute to get a refund. The standard escrow period is 14 days.

Bitcoin: Credited after 1 confirmation (approx. 10-30 mins).
Monero: Credited after 10 confirmations (approx. 20-40 mins).
Please be patient as blockchain speed varies. Always double-check the deposit address before sending.

For your privacy and security, TorZon generates a new, unique deposit address for every transaction. Never reuse an old address. Always verify the address on the deposit page at the exact moment you are ready to send funds.

04

Orders & Vendors

To become a vendor, register a regular account and click "Become a Vendor". You must pay a non-refundable bond of $300 USD. This bond protects buyers by ensuring vendors are serious and have skin in the game. Established vendors from other markets may apply for a bond waiver.

TorZon maintains strict ethical guidelines. Prohibited items include child exploitation material (CP), murder-for-hire services, weapons/explosives, poisons, and fentanyl. Any vendor attempting to list these items will be permanently banned.

If an order has not arrived or is defective, click the "Dispute" button on the order page before the auto-finalize timer runs out. This freezes the escrow. You will be entered into a chat with the vendor and a market moderator. Provide all evidence clearly. The moderator will make a final decision based on the evidence provided.

05

Technical Support

Onion sites are subject to DDoS attacks. If a mirror is down, return to our Links page and try a different mirror. TorZon uses a Link Rotator system to keep alternative access points open during attacks.

If you have PGP set up on your account, you can recover your login details by decrypting a recovery message. If you did not add a PGP key to your profile, your account cannot be recovered by admins for security reasons. This is why adding a PGP key is the first thing you should do after registering.

Once logged in, look for the "Support" or "Ticket" link in the dashboard footer. Create a ticket describing your issue in detail. Do not create multiple tickets for the same issue, as this will delay the response.
